RESPONSE OF CROPS GROWN IN POTATO-BORO-T.AMAN RICE CROPPING PATTERN UNDER LEVEL BARIND ENVIRONMENTS TO ADDED FERTILIZER NUTRIENTS (Pages : 9 - 14)
M. R. A. MOLLAH, M. R. KHATUN, M. A. AKTHER, M. Z. H. PRODHAN and M. SHAHIDULLAHAn experiment was conducted at Joypurhat Multilocation Testing (MLT) site under Bogra during 2003-04 to 2005-06 to determine the optimum and economic dose of fertilizer nutrients. In every year the highest tuber yield was obtained from the level of N (134 kgha-1 ), P (22 kgha-1 ), K(252 kgha-1 ) and S(24 kgha-1 ), respectively. The highest grain yield of Boro was obtained from the level of N (134 kgha-1 ), P (18 kgha-1 ), K (114 kgha-1 ) and S (30 kgha-1 ). The highest grain yield of T.Aman rice was obtained from the level of N (88 kgha-1 ), P (16 kgha- 1 ), K (72 kgha-1 ) and S (16 kgha-1 ) respectively. The lowest grain yield of Potato, Boro, T. Aman rice were found in treatment T14 (control). But the economically optimum dose of potato were 125-22-150 and 15 kgha-1 of N, P, K and S, respectively. The economically optimum does of Boro rice were 115-15-70 and 20 kgha-1 of N, P, K and S, respectively. Similarly, the economically optimum does of T. Aman rice were 85-12-60 and 15 kgha-1 of N, P, K and S respectively. Download
