It has further explored the relationship between the selected characteristics of the rural women and their adoption of homestead vegetable production techniques. Pearson’s product moment correlation co-efficient was used to explore the relationship between the selected characteristics of the respondents and their adoption of homestead vegetable production techniques. Findings revealed that the majority of the respondents are medium adopters (40 percent) of the homestead vegetable production techniques, while 35.79 percent of the respondents are low adopters.
