EVALUATION OF SELECTED CHERRY TOMATO GENOTYPE AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS (Pages : 11 - 13)

M.T. ISLAM AND M. KHATOON

The experiments were carried out with two advanced cherry tomato genotypes viz.Cherolla and Trumbling Red along with a check variety Binatomato-10 at 5 locations during November 2017-March 2018. The experiments were laid out following a randomized complete block design with three replications. The genotype Trumbling Red produced shortest plants with greater number of branches. Cherolla produced the lowest number of branches plant-1. Amongst three genotypes, Cherolla performed the poorest in case of yield attributes and fruit yield at all five locations. Out of five locations Binatomato-10 produced the highest fruit yield at only one location whilst Trumbling Red performed the best at four locations. The fruit yield was higher in Trumbling Red due to increase number of fruits plant-1. Trumbling Red showed the highest mean yield over locations followed by Binatomato-10. Download
